Belgian club Proximus Spirou has added two more Americans, D.J. Richardson and Darnell Harris, to its roster, Ballers Abroad has learned. Spirou, which finished 18-10 last season in Belgium's Scooore! League, signed another American, big man Adam Kemp, June 12 and have continued in their pursuit of American players with the signings of Richardson and Harris. Belgium will be the third country in Richardson's career after playing in Austria and Finland to start off his career. The 2013 Illinois graduate played for Kouvot in Finland last season, putting up 15.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in leading Kouvot to the Korisliiga championship. Harris comes to Proximus from Middle Tennessee State, which is perhaps best known for upsetting Michigan State in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament as a fifteen seed. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in his two seasons playing for the Blue Raiders, having also played at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Northwest Florida State.
Shooting guard D.J. Seeley has signed with Israeli power Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Winner League's official Twitter account confirmed the signing.
Seeley spent last season in Turkey and Spain, beginning the 2015-2016 campaign with Besiktas, moving to Gran Canaria in Spain's ACB League in December 2015. The Cal State Fullerton grad played for the Delaware 87ers during the 2014-2015 season, and other stops in his career brought him to Serbia and Germany. This his first experience in Israel.
Italian club Dinamo Sassari announced its signing of shooting guard Trevor Lacey. Lacey is beginning his second season in Italy for his second different club. He began his career playing for Victoria Libertas Pesaro, putting up 14.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in Italy's top division. The North Carolina State product was named Second-Team All-ACC during the 2014-2015 season and led the Wolfpack to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after spending the first two seasons of his career at the University of Alabama. Lacey left N.C. State after his junior season and entered the NBA Draft. He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers summer league team in the summer of 2015, and Sassari is the second stop in Lacey's professional career.
Turkish club Darussafaka Dogus has confirmed their signing of combo guard Bradley Wanamaker. The former University of Pittsburgh star spent the past two seasons in Germany playing for Brose Baskets in Germany's BBL. Dogus confirmed the news via Twitter.
German power Alba Berlin has announced the signing of point guard Peyton Siva. The club announced the news via Twitter.
