Armani Moore is headed back to Poland for the second time in his career after signing with Asseco Arka Gdynia in the Polish EBL for the 2019-2020 season. Moore started his professional hoops career in Poland, spending a season and a half with Stelmet Enea Zielona Gora from 2016 through January 2018. He spent last season playing in Australia and Germany, starting the season with the New Zealand Breakers before finishing the year with Eisbaren Bremerhaven in the Basketball Bundesliga. The University of Tennessee product averaged 8.5 points per game across all competitions, though he couldn't help save Bremerhaven from relegation in Germany.
He joins one of the more elite teams in Poland in Arka Gdynia, who came up short in the playoffs last season, losing in the semifinals after finishing in first place during the regular season at 25-5. They currently sit at 2-1 on the season. Moore will join fellow Americans Josh Bostic, Ben Emelogu, Phil Greene IV, Leyton Hammonds and Devonte Upson on the roster. |
