Banvit BK has reportedly signed D.J. Shelton to a contract, per Sportando and several outlets. Shelton started the season with Tmoski-Minsk in the VTB United League, where he averaged 14.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in all competitions for the team, which included competing in the FIBA Europe Cup.
Shelton has played once before in Turkey, playing for Akhisar Belediye in the Turkish Basketball League during the 2015-2016 season. Banvit could certainly use him, as they currently sit in last place in the Turkish Basketball Super League with a 1-6 record.
