Casey Prather has joined Khimki in the VTB United League, signing a one-year contract with Khimki with an option for a second year. Prather comes to Russia after spending last season in Greece and Australia. Last year, Khimki went 13-11 and finished in sixth place in the VTB United regular season league standings but made a playoff run, advancing to the Finals of the VTB playoffs before losing to CSKA Moscow. Other Americans that signed with Khimki this offseason are Dee Bost, Malcolm Thomas and Anthony Gill.
