Afer three seasons in France, Jason Rich returned to Italy - and what a return it was. Rich was named the Most Valuable Player for Lega Basket Serie A, capping off an incredible year that saw him become the league scoring champ and lead his club, S.S. Felice Scandone, to a playoff berth.
​Rich put up 19.5 points per game while dishing out 2.8 assists on average, helping Scandone maintain their quality play after making the Serie A playoffs last season. This is the fifth consecutive year that an American has been named MVP of Lega Basket Serie A, an award that has been given in the past to stars like Manu Ginobili and Danilo Gallinari. The regular season for the LBA ends May 9. |
