Josh Harrellson has signed with Latvian club VEF Riga. The team confirmed the news on Twitter the morning of Dec. 18.
Harrellson, a 6'10 center, had not yet found a team during the 2015-2016 season after being signed by the Washington Wizards and playing with them during the NBA preseason. Last season, Harrellson split time between China and Puerto Rico, finishing the 2015 season with Brujos de Guayama of Puerto Rico. The Kentucky grad and 2011 NBA second-round draft pick played in 75 games over three seasons in the NBA, and his international career has mostly seen him going between China and Puerto Rico. This will be his first taste of European basketball.
