 Mayo (via BBL)
Josh Mayo is reportedly close to signing with Italy's Openjobmetis Varese according to several sources. Mayo would join the team from Germany, last three seasons with Telekom Baskets Bonn in the Basketball Bundesliga. He averaged 13.9 points and 3.3 assists per game across all competitions for Telekom Baskets Bonn during the 2018-2019 season, which included competing in the Basketball Champions League, as the team went 18-16 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the BBL playoffs.
Were Mayo to join Varese he would also be playing in the Basketball Champions League again, as well as competing the Italian league, where Varese went 16-14 last year and narrowly missed out on a playoff berth. |
