MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany announced their signing of big man Clint Chapman to the roster. There won't be a far move for Chapman, seeing as how he started this season for another team in the Basketball Bundesliga, Alba Berlin. In 16 games played for Alba, including eight games in the Eurocup, the former University of Texas standout averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, very efficient numbers for his 16.6 minutes per game average.
Germany is a brand-new experience for Chapman, having spent the majority of his career playing for various teams in Japan, most recently the Toyama Grouses during the 2017-2018 season. He will be moving down the table to join his new team, however; he helped Alba Berlin to a 7-1 record to start the BBL season, but joins a Ludwigsburg team that is currently sitting in ninth place at 4-4. |
