Rodney Purvis is the newest member of King Wilki Morskie Szczecin after the shooting guard reportedly signed with the Polish team Feb. 26. Purvis comes to King Szczecin from Italy, where he played for Bergamo Basket in the Italian Serie A2.
The 27-year-old shooting guard averaged 15.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists for Bergamo, his second time playing in Italy. King Szczecin is working toward a playoff push, as they currently sit in seventh place in the PLK standings at 14-11. Purvis played in the NBA G League for the first two seasons of his career, which including time in the NBA with the Orlando Magin in 2018. He joins fellow Americans Tookie Brown, Michael Fakuade, Cleveland Melvin, Zach Thomas andDustin Ware on the roster.
