Rion Brown has found a new team in Greece. Brown joined Promitheas Patras of Greece's A1 League earlier today, signing with the team for next season. The Miami (FL) grad joins Patras from Dijon Basket, where he averaged 12.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game playing in the LNB Pro A, France's top division.
Dijon Basket went 20-14 last season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pro A playoffs. Brown will be joining a Patras team that went 17-9 last year, good enough for third place in the A1 standings, and advancing to the semifinals of the A1 playoffs. He has also played in Belgium, Israel and Finland during his career. |
