Second-year guard T.J. Williams has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Telenet BC Oostende in the EuroMillions Basketball League in Belgium. Oostende welcomes Williams from the United States, where Williams spent his rookie season in the NBA G League with the Greensboro Swarm. In 37 games, Williams averaged 8.8 points and 2.8 assists per game as the Swarm finished with a 16-34 record in the Southeast Division of the G League.
He will be joining a very successful team in Oostende, which won the Belgian league championship after sweeping the Antwerp Giants in the finals. Williams was the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year at Northeastern in 2017. |
