Americans play professional basketball all around the world - and we're here to follow it.
Whether it’s in one of the biggest leagues in Europe or the first division in Kazakhstan, the beaches of Brazil or the tundra of Russia, a massive country like China or a tucked-away league in Luxembourg, professional basketball is happening all around the globe. Between domestic leagues in nearly every country in the world and regional leagues with teams from different countries, basketball outside the United States is different than the hoops you grew up with - and it’s where thousands of Americans play every single season. Ballers Abroad is dedicated to following the careers of Americans who play pro basketball outside of the United States as players travel the world to play the game they love, experiencing new people and cultures along the way. We’re more than a site for statistics and data - we want to cover the entire experience of what it’s like to be a baller abroad. Welcome to the world of overseas hoops - and the Americans who play.

Baller of the Week![]() 1/10/21 vs. Basquet Club Andorra
51 points 7 assists 7 three-pointers The first Baller of the Week for 2021 is here, and it's something special! We're headed to Armenia for the first time this season, where JordanWatson tied - that's right, TIED - his season high by scoring 51 points while hitting seven three-pointers and dishing out seven assists for Dvin in Armenia's League A win over BKMA. The West Liberty grad has had a huge impact for Dvin this season, averaging 29.2 points, 6.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds while helping Dvin to a 11-10 record in league play, which includes a recent five-game winning streak. His strong play all season, including an incredible performance as the Armenian League's regular season comes to a close, makes him a perfect player for Baller of the Week!
