Maye played for the Wisconsin Herd (NBA G League) in the United States during the 2019-2020 season.
He was named All-ACC First Team and Third Team All-American in 2018 while at UNC.
He is also known for hitting the game-winning shot that sent UNC to the Final Four in 2017 - he was also named Most Outstanding Player of the South Regional in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
