- Machado's nine-year career has included numerous stops in the NBA and NBA G League, including with the Houston Rockets (2012-2013), Golden State Warriors (2013), Idaho Stampede (2014) and South Bay Lakers (2017-2019).
- He has dual American-Brazilian citizenship, and played for the Brazilian national team during the 2019 Americas FIBA World Cup qualification.
