Adam Smith is going to play in Israel after signing with Hapoel Holon in the Israeli Winner League. Smith joins the team after starting the season with Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizle Basket in Turkey. In 11 games in the Turkish Basketball League, Smith averaged 14.7 points and 3.9 assists per game while shooting 43.1% from three-point range.
He will join a Hapoel Holon team that sits in second place in the Winner League at 6-3, and is in second place in Group G in the Basketball Champions League at 3-2. This will be his first time in Israel after stops in France, Turkey, Italy, Greece and Poland. |
