German power Alba Berlin has announced the signing of point guard Peyton Siva. The club announced the news via Twitter.
Siva is in his fourth year of professional basketball having started his career as a second-round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. The former Louisville Cardinal and 2013 NCAA Tournament Champion played one season with the Pistons, then spent a season with the NBA Development League's Erie Bayhawks before playing the 2015-2016 season in Italy with JuveCaserta Basket.
Alba Berlin went 22-12 last season in Germany's Bundesliga (BBL), advancing to the quarterfinals of the BBL Playoffs, as well as the German Basketball Cup. Siva averaged 13.3 points and 6.5 assists last season for JuveCaserta. |
