After spending a season in France and gaining Euroleague experience, shooting guard Allerik Freeman will return to Bursaspor Basketbol after signing with the Turkish side ahead of the 2021-2022 season. Freeman last played for Bursaspor in 2019, where he averaged 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
The N.C. State product played in France last season, averaging 9.1 points and 1.3 assists per game for ASVEL Basket across all competitions, including 18 games played in the Euroleague. He joins a Bursaspor team that finished in ninth place in the Turkish BSL this past season with a 13-17 record, just outside the playoff picture in Turkey's top division.
