Anthony Clemmons will take his talents to the Balkans next season after signing with Bosnian power BC Igokea July 2. The 25-year-old guard will join Igokea as he starts his fifth season of professional hoops in his fourth different country. Clemmons has seen a steady rise in competition since starting his career out of the University of Iowa, having a stellar rookie season in Austria before two seasons with BC Astana, playing in Kazakhstan and the VTB United League.
He spent the 2019-2020 season in France, putting up 10.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game across all competitions for AS Monaco Basket. This included helping Monaco to a 21-4 record in France's LNB Pro A league, and the second stage of the FIBA EuroCup. He will join an Igokea team that will look to retain its top spot in the Bosnian league while improving its record in the regional Adriatic League, along with fellow Americans Tay Waller and Jackie Carmichael. |
