Astana in Kazakhstan has announced their signing of forward Ken Horton. Horton arrives at Astana from France, where he played last season for Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the LNB Pro A. The Central Connecticut grad averaged 11.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for Pau-Lacq-Orthez as the team finished 18-16 and advanced to the LNB Pro A playoffs.
He joins an Astana team that plays in their domestic league as well as the regional VTB United League. Astana will hope to improve on last season's finish in the the VTB United League, as the team went 7-17 and finished in tenth place in the standings. Horton has also played in France, Cyprus, Mexico, Finland and Germany. |
