Avtodor Saratov in Russia strengthened its roster with the addition of high-scoring guard Nate Mason. Heading into his third season as a pro, Mason will play in Russia for the first time after stops in the NBA G League and Israel.
During the 2019-2020 season, the Minnesota product started the year in the United States, averaging 15.6 points and 7.2 assists per game for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. In January, Mason moved to Israel, playing in three games for Hapoel Eilat in March. Now, he will join an Avtodor team that is looking to make a name for itself in the VTB United League after a disastrous 5-13 record last season. Fellow American Markel Starks is also on the roster ahead of the 2020/21 season, |
