There is PLENTY going on in 2020, and the world of overseas hoops is no exception. As the NBA season comes to an end this October, leagues across the world have already started or are beginning soon (wow, never thought we’d say that!) so we’re back with our favorite feature here at BA - Baller of the Week!
The first Baller of the Week of this sure-to-be-interesting season takes us to Poland, where big man Geoffrey Groselle put on for Basket Zielona Gora in his team's big win. The seven-footer scored a season-high 35 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while shooting a scorching 76 percent from the floor in Zielona Gora’s 95-79 victory over MKS Dabrowa Gornizca. Groselle is playing in Poland for the first time in his five-year career, and is averaging 15.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while helping Zielona Gora to an undefeated 6-0 start in league play.
