Baller of the Week takes us to Turkey for the first time this season, where experienced guard Troy Franklin put on a show in his team's narrow loss over the weekend.
Franklin scored 43 points while dishing out 11 assists in Akhisar Belediye's 135-125 loss to Yeni Mamak Spor Klubu. The Coppin State product also hit a season-high 9 three-pointers and grabbed five rebounds and two steals, showing his ability to shoot, distribute and play both ends of the floor. The sixth-year guard is in the midst of the best statistical season of his career, averaging a career-high 19.4 points and 6.4 assists per game for Akhisar, who despite the loss still sit at the top of the TBL standings at 11-6. His stellar performance on top of an impressive season makes him an easy choice for Baller of the Week!
