Michael "Juice" Thompson is staying in France after signing with BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque ahead of the 2019-2020 season. He spent the 2018-2019 season playing for Le Mans Sarthe Basket.
Thompson is a long-time presence in the French hoops scene, having played for various LNB Pro A teams from 2012-2016. After spending two seasons in Turkey, Thompson returned to France last season, averaging 12.5 points and 4.6 assists per game for Le Mans, which included competing in the Basketball Champions League. He joins a Gravelines-Dunkerque team that will look to get back the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Second-year pro Erik McCree also joined the club this offseason and should provide a bit of offense as they try to right the ship.
