Brandyn Curry will be playing in France for the first time in his career after signing for ESSM Le Portel May 31. The two-time Dutch Basketball League champion, most recently in 2018 with Donar Groningen, signed with Le Portel for next season according to Eurobasket and other outlets. Curry has played in three countries in his four-year career, most recently for Donar during the 2017-2018 season, where he averaged 15.9 points and 5.3 assists per game across all competitions for the Dutch team and was named Most Valuable Player of the DBL.
​Curry joins a Le Portel side that finished two games back of a playoff spot this past season after finishing the the regular season with a 16-18 record. The Harvard grad collected a lot of hardware in his most recent season in the Netherlands, and will be hoping to up his game to a new level for Le Portel next season. |
