After three seasons in Australia, Casper Ware is returning once again to the Land Down Under - but for a new team. Ware signed a multi-year contract with the Sydney Kings in Australia's National Basketball League after spending the last three years playing for Melbourne United.
A veteran on the international scene since graduating from Long Beach State in 2012, Ware averaged 18.9 points and 4.3 assists per game for Melbourne as the team finished with an 18-10 record and made it to the NBL Finals. He's had massive success with United in his three years there, winning the NBL title in 2018. He joins a Sydney Kings side that he helped defeat in the 2019 NBL playoffs, as United swept their semifinal series with the Kings. |
