Maccabi Haifa in Israel strengthened its roster by adding American guard Chris Dowe to the team. Heading into his eighth year in international basketball, Dowe will return to Israel's Winner League for the second time in his career after playing for Ironi Nes Ziona during the 2018-2019 season.
Last year, the Bellarmine product played for Anwil Wloclawek in Poland, helping the team to a 17-5 record while putting up 11.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. He also played for Anwil in Basketball Champions League play. He joins a Haifa squad that recently lost in the quarterfinals of the Israeli Winner League playoffs after going 15-14 in regular season play in its first season back in the Winner League after a year in Israel's second division. |
