The New Zealand Breakers have added a second American player to their roster after signing Colton Iverson. The big man joins the Breakers for his eighth season as a pro after playing seven years in Europe, including stops in Turkey, Spain, Israel and Russia. Most recently, he played for Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia during the 2019-2020 season, averaging 6.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as he helped Zenit to a sixth-place finish in the VTB United League while the team also played in the Euroleague.
The 7-footer joins a Breakers team that will look to improve on a 15-13 record from last season that had the team just missing the NBL playoffs in Australia. The team has also signed American Lamar Patterson for the upcoming season, which is currently slated to start sometime in late January/early February 2021. |
