 Weaver
Maccabi Rishon LeZion has added center David Weaver to their roster a few short weeks before the season in Israel begins. Weaver comes to Rishon LeZion from Turkey, where he spent last season with TED Ankara Kolejliler in Turkey's second division.
The Wake Forest grad averaged 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as Ankara Kolejliler finished with a dismal 9-25 record. Rishon LeZion will hope to improve on their poor record from last season, finishing in last place in the Israeli Winner League with a record of 11-22. This will be the first time the 30-year-old big man will be playing in Israel. |
