Buducnost Voli strengthened its team with the signing of Earl Clark. Clark arrives in Montenegro from Turkey, having played the past two seasons for Besiktas in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Last season, Clark averaged 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game across all competitions for Besiktas, which finished the regular season with a 20-10 record, losing in the quarterfinals of the TBL playoffs to Banvit BK.
Before going abroad during the 2014-2015 season, Clark played for seven seasons in the United States, splitting time between the NBA and the NBA G League. A first-round pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Clark's most recent U.S. experience was with the Delaware 87ers (NBA G League) in 2016. The Louisville product will join a Buducnost Voli side that will be playing in the Euroleague for the first time after winning the ABA league championship. He is the third American to sign with Buducnost Voli, as Coty Clarke and Edwin Jackson have also signed with the Montenegrin side. |
