Jackie Carmichael signs in Turkey

Power forward Jackie Carmichael is headed back to Turkey, signing with Buyukcekmece in the Turkish Basketball Super League, Turkey's top division. Carmichael last played in Turkey for Banvit during the 2015-2016 season.

The big man spent last season in Israel with Maccabi Ashdod, averaging 10.6 ppg and 7.1 rpg as Maccabi Ashdod finished with a 13-20 record. Buyukcekmece had a similarly tough season last year, finishing with a 9-21 record in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
