Casademont Zaragoza in Spain strengthened its roster by re-signing big man Jason Thompson for next season. The former NBA first-round pick spent the majority of his career in the United States before stops in China and Turkey, arriving in Spain in February to finish the 2019-2020 season in Spain.
Thompson averaged 8.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in limited action for Zaragoza. Not only will Thompson help the team in the hyper-competitive Liga Endesa, Spain's top division, but he'll also be able to help Zaragoza in the Final Eight Tournament of the Basketball Champions League in September. Zaragoza has also added D.J. Seeley and Rasheed Sulaimon to its roster for next season.
