Jamar Wilson is the newest player at JL Bourg Basket after signing with the French team June 12. He played the 2018-2019 season for BC Lietkabelis in Lithuania, averaging 11.3 points and 3.2 assists per game across all competitions, including the Basketball Champions League. He will join a JL Bourg team that narrowly missed out on a playoff berth in the LNB Pro A, France's top division, after finishing the regular season in ninth place with a 19-15 record.
Wilson has played in France twice before: first with Rouen Metropole Basket in 2015, when he only played 8 games, and then for Nanterre 92 during the 2017-2018 season. He has also played in Belgium, Finland, Serbia and Spain during his career, and has been effective both in a starting role or coming off the bench. |
