Baskonia has strengthened its roster with the addition of forward Kevin Jones on a two-month-long contract. The 6'9" big man arrives in Spain having spent last year in Russia with Lokomotiv Kuban, where he averaged 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Jones will be joining a Baskonia side that is 5-4 so far this season in Spain's Liga Endesa and 4-5 in the Euroleague.
The former West Virginia star will be able to add scoring and rebounding to a team that is currently in the middle of the pack in Spain and in the European league. The sixth-year pro also has a team option to extend his contract through to the end of the season depending on his performance with the club. This will be his first time playing in Spain.
