Per Sportando and other outlets, Limburg United announced its signing of forward Paul Carter for next season. Carter joins the team from Latvia, where he played for VEF Riga.
Carter spent time with two teams last season, starting the season with Champagne Chalons-Reims before joining Riga in February 2018. The Illinois-Chicago grad averaged 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game across all competitions for both teams, an improvement on his season averages for the 2016-2017 season. He helped Riga reach the finals of the Lithuanian Basketball League playoffs, though the team had a disappointing finish in VTB United League play with an 8-16 record. Limburg went 16-20 last year, qualifying for the Euromillions League playoffs in Belgium.
Limburg also announced that it has re-signed big man Khaliq Spicer for next season as well. |
