 Austin
Demetric Austin is the newest player for Panionios BC after signing with the Greek team earlier today. The Dillard product replaces the departed Brandon Wood, who left the team after only appearing in one game for Panionios. Austin spent last year in Portugal playing for Barreirense, where he averaged 19.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in 12 games played. He joins a Panionios team that is in the bottom half of the league standings after starting with a 3-5 record, and will need to play better if they hope to improve on last year's 7-19 finish. This is Austin's second season of pro basketball.
