Per Sportando and several outlets, Ray McCallum has reportedly signed with Cafes Candelas Breogan in Spain's Liga Endesa. The former NBA player joins the Spanish team from the United States where he played in 12 games for the Agua Caliente Clippers in the NBA G League. He also spent the early part of the season in Turkey with Darussafaka in the Turkish Basketball Super League. In 23 games, McCallum averaged 9.7 points and 4.0 assists per game while starting in more than half of the games in which he played.
The sixth-year pro has played in Liga Endesa before when he suited up for Unicaja during the 2017-2018 season. He averaged modest numbers during that season, inluding scoring 9.3 points per game in Euroleague play. Breogan is currently in sixteenth place out of 18 teams in the Liga Endesa with a 7-15 record, two games above last place. |
