Rob Gray is the newest player for Levallois Metropolitans in France, signing with the team for the 2019-2020 season. Gray will remain in France for his second season of professional basketball. After starting his rookie season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G League, he finished out the 2018-2019 campaign with JL Bourg Basket, another team in France's LNB Pro A. In 10 games, the Houston product averaged 14.0 points and 3.9 assists per game as Bourg narrowly missed out on a playoff spot, finished the regular season in ninth place in the league standings.
Gray will look to help revitalize Levallois, who had a down year during the 2018-2019 season as they finished in twelfth place in the league standings with a 14-20 record. He was a two-time All-AAC First Team player at Houston in 2017 and 2018 after arriving from Howard College (TX), and averaged 17.1 points per game for the Mad Ants during his time in the G League. |
