Combo guard Skyler Bowlin is staying put in Germany, signing a two-year contract with s.Oliver Wurzburg earlier this morning. Bowlin spent this past season with Science City Jena, where the Missouri Southern product averaged 11.6 points and 5.2 assists per game in 33 games for Jena as the team finished well out of the playoff hunt with a 14-20 record. Bowlin has played in Germany since 2016. He has also played in Sweden, Denmark and Austria, winning championships in both Sweden and Denmark.
Wurzburg narrowly missed the playoffs this season, ending the regular season in ninth place with a 19-15 record. The addition of Bowlin should give the team steady guard play and a productive player in the backcourt over the next two seasons. |
