The Brisbane Bullets have announced that they've re-signed combo guard Stephen Holt for another year in the NBL. Holt is currently in Poland playing with BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski for the Polish league playoffs, but will be ready to join the Bullets again when the Australian league starts up again in August. Holt averaged 9.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 28 appearances for the Bullets during the 2017-2018 season, his first in Australia since playing for Melbourne United from 2015-2016.
“I’m definitely ready to be more of a playmaker this season," Holt told Sportando. "I had honest conversations with the staff at the end of the season on how I felt I could have given more to the group. I’m looking forward to making those adjustments and helping this team win as many games as possible." The Bullets will hope to improve on last season's 9-19 record, which put them at the bottom of the NBL standings. |
