Bnei Herzliya of Israel's Winner League has signed point guard Taurean Green. The league announced the signing earlier today.
Green split time between Italy and Greece last season, playing for Scandone Basket during the first half of the season and AEK Athens the second half. Although he only appeared in 14 games last season, he averaged 7.9 ppg and 4.5 apg. The former Florida Gator, a second round pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, has also played in Turkey, Spain and France, but this will be his first time playing in Israel.
Bnei Herzliya finished 15-18 last season and advanced to the playoffs despite their losing record, losing in the quarterfinal round to Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-0 in a best-of-five series. |
