Pallancaestro Varese announced June 6 that power forward Tyler Cain has signed an extension with the club to stay in Italy for the next two years. This signing comes on the heel's of a season where Cain averaged 9.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in 33 games played as Varese finished the regular season with a 16-14 record and advanced to the quarterfinals of the SerieA playoffs. This was Cain's first season in Italy since playing with Fuglor Libertas Forti during the 2013-2014 season, after which he spent three seasons in France for three different teams. The South Dakota grad has played in three countries in his eight-year career (Italy, France and Latvia).
