UNICS Kazan have announced their signing of big man Jordan Morgan. The power forward/center signed with the Russian side on a one-year contract with an option for an extra year. Morgan will come to the VTB United League after spending the past two years in Turkey, suiting up for two teams in two seasons.
Most recently, he spent the 2019/20 season with Pinar Karsiyaka, where he averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game across all competitions, including putting up 15.9 points per game in the FIBA EuroCup. The Michigan product will join a UNICS Kazan team that will look to improve on its 12-6 record this season, good enough for fourth place in the VTB United League standings before league play was canceled March 27. Morgan has also played professionally in Italy, France, Greece and Slovenia, and played for the Canton Charge of the NBA G League in 2016. |
