Virtus Segafredo Bologna have reportedly signed swingman Kelvin Martin for next season according to Sportando and several outlets. Martin stays in Italy for another season after spending last year with Vanoli Cremona, another team in the Lega Basket SerieA. The Charleston Southern grad averaged 13.0 points per game across all competitions in his second stint in Italy, having played in Lega Basket SerieA2 for Fortitudo Moncada Agrigento in 2015-2016, as Vanoli Cremona went 15-15 and advanced to the SerieA playoffs, where they lost in the quarterfinal.
Virtus Bolgona was one of two other teams that also finished the regular season with a 15-15 record, losing out on the final playoff spot to Vanoli. Martin has also played the Netherlands and Germany during his career. |
