Now that it's summer time, player signings and other transactions are flying left and right so fast, it's hard to keep track of what's what in the world of international basketball. Limoges CSP re-signed William Howard for another year. Howard averaged 11.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game last year Limoges.
Marquez Haynes re-signed with Reyer Venezia on a two-year extension. Haynes has played there the past two seasons. Omar Calhoun, Frank Gaines and Shaheed Davis signed with Pallacanestro Cantu. Calhoun played in Finland last year with Espoo United, and Gaines was with Parma Basket Perm in Russia. Davis last played in the Ukraine. Josh Young re-signed with SC Rasta Vechta for another season. Branden Frazier signed with San Pablo Burgos in Spain. Frazier played for Avtodor Saratov last season. Thomas Robinson reportedly left Khimki in Russia. Robinson played the majority of his career in the NBA before joining Khimki this past season. BBC Monthey signed Joel Wright, who most recently played abroad in Belgium with Okapi Aalstar. Ryan Pearson re-signed with JDA Dijon in France. Pearson averaged 13.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for Dijon this past season. Pallacanestro Varese signed Dominique Archie. Archie last played in Italy with Orlandina Basket during the 2016-2017 season. Trae Golden signed with Avtodor Saratov. Golden was an All-Star in France last year with ESSM Le Portel. |
