Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen have announced its signing of three new players, two of which are American. Carrington Love arrives to the team from the Netherlands, and TK Edogi will start his professional career with the club.
Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the signing of second-year pro Kendrick Ray. Ray joins the Israeli side after a rookie season in the Czech Republic.
Reyer Venezia announced that is has signed Michael Bramos to a multi-year contract extension. Bramos has played with Venezia since 2015, and had signed a contract extension in 2017 that would extend through 2019. However, this extension is a two-year contract through the 2019-2020 season, with an option for a third season as well.
The 31-year-old has been a solid contributor to Venezia since joining the team, and averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game across all competition as his team won the FIBA Europe Cup. After finishing the season in first place in Itay's Lega Basket SerieA, they were upset in the semifinal round by Aquila Basket Trento. Bramos has dual Greek citizenship, and has competed for Greece's national team since 2011.
Jordan Hulls is moving teams in Germany's Basketball Bundesliga. The point guard signed with s.Oliver Wurzburg for the 2018-2019 season, remaining in Germany's top flight after spending the past two seasons with Eisbaren Bremerhaven.
Last year, Hulls averaged a career-high 15.5 points and 4.1 assists per game for Bremerhaven as they finished in the bottom half of the league standings at 8-26. The Indiana grad will be joining a Wurzburg team that narrowly missed the playoffs by one game after finishing the regular season with a 19-15 record. Hulls had played Poland, Kosovo and Belgium prior to joining Bremerhaven in 2016.
Buducnost Voli strengthened its team with the signing of Earl Clark. Clark arrives in Montenegro from Turkey, having played the past two seasons for Besiktas in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Last season, Clark averaged 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game across all competitions for Besiktas, which finished the regular season with a 20-10 record, losing in the quarterfinals of the TBL playoffs to Banvit BK.
Before going abroad during the 2014-2015 season, Clark played for seven seasons in the United States, splitting time between the NBA and the NBA G League. A first-round pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Clark's most recent U.S. experience was with the Delaware 87ers (NBA G League) in 2016. The Louisville product will join a Buducnost Voli side that will be playing in the Euroleague for the first time after winning the ABA league championship. He is the third American to sign with Buducnost Voli, as Coty Clarke and Edwin Jackson have also signed with the Montenegrin side.

Marquez Haynes re-signed with Reyer Venezia on a two-year extension. Haynes has played there the past two seasons. Omar Calhoun, Frank Gaines and Shaheed Davis signed with Pallacanestro Cantu. Calhoun played in Finland last year with Espoo United, and Gaines was with Parma Basket Perm in Russia. Davis last played in the Ukraine. Josh Young re-signed with SC Rasta Vechta for another season. Branden Frazier signed with San Pablo Burgos in Spain. Frazier played for Avtodor Saratov last season. Thomas Robinson reportedly left Khimki in Russia. Robinson played the majority of his career in the NBA before joining Khimki this past season. BBC Monthey signed Joel Wright, who most recently played abroad in Belgium with Okapi Aalstar. Ryan Pearson re-signed with JDA Dijon in France. Pearson averaged 13.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for Dijon this past season. Pallacanestro Varese signed Dominique Archie. Archie last played in Italy with Orlandina Basket during the 2016-2017 season. Trae Golden signed with Avtodor Saratov. Golden was an All-Star in France last year with ESSM Le Portel.
David Gonzalvez is moving countries. The shooting guard signed with Kouvot in Finland earlier today, inking with the team for next season. Gonzalvez arrives having played last season with SC Rasta Vechta, where he averaged 8.8 points and 1.9 assists per game in 39 games played as he helped lead Rasta Vechta to the German ProA Championship.
Gonzalvez has played for Kouvot once before, during the 2015-2016 season. That season, Gonzalvez averaged 13.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, playing in more than 50 games for the Finnish side. Kouvot will hope that Gonzalvez can replicate his past success as the team looks to improve on its 23017 record, and saw them advancing to the quarterfinals of Finland's Korisliiga playoffs. |
